IS IT OKAY TO FEEL SAD?

                               

                     All of us are humans and we go through a turmoil of emotions and feelings in our day to day life. It is no less than a roller coaster. We often tend to get confused with our emotions and misname our sadness with depression. It is essential for us to understand that depression is really a sad state and cannot disappear or snap out within a day or two. However sadness can disappear as soon as we experience something positive.
                     
                    Yes it is perfectly normal to be sad at times. While we are sad we get a lot of time for introspection. Sadness does help us understand and realize the important of those happy moments and time that we have spent with our loved one's. I am sure while you were sad people must have often told you to cheer up and be happy but then it is not humanly possible to always keep on smiling. 

             Psychologically when we feel sad our thinking process slows down. Now the question arises what to do in such situation answer is really simple now if you are music lover just put on your earplugs and choose your favorite playlist or else listen to songs which suit your situation and feelings, if you feel like venting please do it no matter if you are girl or a boy, man or woman everyone experiences the same emotion so please express it out, if you are a good writer than pen down your emotions and i assure you that you will really feel good. Also there are times when you just want to be with your own self here, its best to enjoy your own company. and the best option would be that of meditation just sit right there observe the thoughts that flow. These are some of the ways of catharsis which we can do while we are stressed out. i believe stress , anger and sadness go hand in hand they are like a vicious circle but then they are equally important for our life to become balanced .
